Unfccc Paris Agreement Progress Tracker

In order to facilitate negotiations on the implementation of the Paris Agreement, the Secretariat has updated a point of progress for the work programme of the Paris Agreement. The overview, presented in table form, shows the relevant authorities, actors and schedules and describes the status of the work on each element, if any, as well as the next steps. The progress tracker also contains links to specific services and/or websites for more information. [Progress Tracker for the work programme under the Paris Agreement] [UNFCCC Paris Agreement Tracker Website] October 17, 2017: In preparation for the Un Climate Change Conference to be held in Bonn from 6 to 17 November 2107, the UNFCCC secretariat has published an updated progress guide for the work programme under the Paris Climate Change Agreement. Ad hoc Working Group on the Paris Agreement (APA) Co-chairs and facilitators of discussions on the points of the APP programme have published documents aimed at advancing negotiations on the implementation of the Paris Agreement. The paris Agreement`s work programme monitoring guide outlines the relevant bodies, actors and timetables and describes the progress of work on each point and, if so, the next steps. The Climate Action Tracker (CAT) is an independent scientific analysis conducted since 2009 by two research organizations that monitor the fight against climate change. We are monitoring progress towards the globally agreed goal of keeping warming well below 2 degrees Celsius and limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. The Secretariat has updated a point of progress on the work programme of the Paris Agreement. In May 2017, the APA co-chairs issued a reflection letter on APA 1-3, which outlines the co-chairs` thoughts on the progress of the APA negotiations and the way forward. The United Nations Climate Change Conference, chaired by the Government of Fiji, will be held on the 23rd Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) at the UNFCCC, the 13th meeting of the Conference of the Parties, which serves as a meeting of the parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP 13), and the 47th meeting of the subsidiary scientific and technological advisory body (SBSTA 47) and the subsidiary implementation body (SBI 47). The fourth part of the first meeting of the APP (APA 1-4) and the second part of the first meeting of the Conference of the Parties, which serves as a meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA 1-2), are also convened.
