The Home College will ensure compliance with the agreement and all Document IV financial assistance rules with respect to this agreement. Home College reserves the right to exclude Exchange course units from determining financial assistance in the event of a conflict with federal Title IV requirements. Rice Family Foundation Wins 15.11.2018 – A foundation that has donated more than $1 million to Grossmont and De Cuyamaca colleges received the second annual Bill and Judy Garrett Civic Leadership Award. Open registration begins in spring 2019 12/05/2018 – The spring semester is only a calendar page away at Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges and much is available for the new year. Open registration will begin on Tuesday, December 4 for the new semester, which will begin on January 28 with new courses, first programs and more free textbooks in the classroom. Tuesday is also the first open registration day for intersession courses, offered 2-26 January. The university where the student first concludes his application for admission and the next steps of enrollment are called Home College. The Grandsmont-Cuyamaca Community College District has its own winning trio – the winners of the 2018 Senate Award – which was hailed Tuesday night by the Board of Directors in recognition of their exemplary work. Winners` Jobs – Rochelle Weiser of Grossmont College; Gwen Nix of Cuyamaca College and Gabriella Avila-Garcia of District Services are diverse and represent the wide range of tasks performed by non-pedagogical collaborators. Units taken simultaneously at Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College may be accepted for financial purposes if a student has submitted a consortium contract. A student must apply for financial assistance and file a consortium contract at the university where he has obtained a major degree, and he must be enrolled in at least six total units in the two higher education institutions. The student must also be enrolled in all units until the day of the census and the courses must be necessary for the student`s educational purpose. Students must maintain their registration in at least one course at Grossmont College or the consortium agreement is terminated. Consortium agreements must be submitted for the student`s concept before the student`s census date and no later than the expiry of the agreement.
